SVGTextPositioningElement

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨July 2015⁩.

The SVGTextPositioningElement interface is implemented by elements that support attributes that position individual text glyphs. It is inherited by SVGTextElement and SVGTSpanElement.

Instance properties

This interface also inherits properties from its parent, SVGTextContentElement.

SVGTextPositioningElement.x Read only: Returns an SVGAnimatedLengthList reflecting the x attribute of the given element.
SVGTextPositioningElement.y Read only: Returns an SVGAnimatedLengthList reflecting the y attribute of the given element.
SVGTextPositioningElement.dx Read only: Returns an SVGAnimatedLengthList reflecting the dx attribute of the given element.
SVGTextPositioningElement.dy Read only: Returns an SVGAnimatedLengthList reflecting the dy attribute of the given element.
SVGTextPositioningElement.rotate Read only: Returns an SVGAnimatedNumberList reflecting the rotate attribute of the given element.

Instance methods

This interface doesn't provide any specific methods, but inherits methods from its parent, SVGTextContentElement.
